Fine walnut three train longcase clock with five pillar movement, the 12" brass arched dial signed Samuel Thorne, London on a silvered arched plate to the matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, with strike/silent dial to the arch, the six pillar movement playing on a nest of eight bells, the case with long feather and cross banded door and the hood with finely engraved pierced foliate brass panels surmounted by a moulded rounded arched cornice and caddy top with two scrolling vase finials, 96" high (pendulum, three brass cased weights and keys)
