Scott Henderson - 1986 Jackson Custom electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 2786; Body: purple finish, blemishes and dings to edges, a few further scratches, empty strap button hole to bass horn and repositioned to neck heel; Neck: maple, mild wear; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: good; Electrics: working, Seymour Duncan neck and bridge humbucker pickups, 1977 Fender middle pickup, push-pull tone control and five-way switch, re-soldering/wire work evident, Alembic Stratoblaster Boost preamp installed; Hardware: generally good, light rusting to saddles on DiMarzio bridge, locking Sperzel tuners installed, missing trem arm; Case: oblong hard case; Weight: 3.34kg; Overall condition: fair

*Bought by the vendor in 1988 directly from Scott Henderson who, at the time, had just entered an endorsement agreement with Ibanez Guitars and was therefore unable to use this guitar in public again. This guitar was used during his Tribal Tech era and when he played with Joe Zawinul. A stamp to the neck end suggests that the guitar was made by Mike Eldred, an employee of Jackson at the time. A Guitar World magazine dated July 1987 shows Scott Henderson with the guitar on page 19. A copy of the magazine is included in the sale
