French violoncello labelled Modele d'Apres, Victor De Moyer, Luthier d'Art á Gand. Anno 1916; also stamped V. De Moyer L á Gand to the inner back, the two piece back of faint broad curl with faint medium curl and plainish wood to the sides, the head of a medium curl, the table of a fine width grain slightly widening to the flanks and the varnish of a reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 29 3/8", 74.60cm, hard case (table in need of restoration)
