£2,500
Good English mahogany double fusee verge bracket clock, the movement with pull repeat and the foliate engraved back plate signed Peter Pohlmann, London on a central cartouche, with locking pendulum and striking on a bell above, the 7" brass arched dial with unusual silvered chapter ring inscribed to the border outside the Roman numerals Thomas Neale and dated 1760 above twelve o'clock, enclosing a matted centre with false bob pendulum and calendar apertures, with strike/silent subsidiary dial to the arch, within a stepped canted case with applied gilt metal caryatid and foliate mounts, surmounted by a caddy top and brass carrying handle, 20" high (pendulum and keys)
The condition is very good and the clock in running order, the name around the outside of the chapter ring is quite possibly the original owner who commissioned the clock. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
