Rare French industrial automata 'The Foundryman Steam Hammer' novelty mantel clock signed André Guilmet, the case modelled with a foundryman in industrial attire forming a bar of brass at an anvil below a piston driven assembly, next to a red brick boiler house containing a striking clock movement with 2.75" gilt metal dial, with a door fitted to the front and taps and pressure gauge set to the sides, the Mougin movement back plate stamped Brevete, GLT, SGDG, upon a rectangular bronze bound base, 14.5" high, 12" wide, 7.25" deep
