This bassoon is stamped on the back joint Manufactured by S. Quilter, 3 & 5 Ferdinand St, London but there is no serial number, that has probably worn off, we would not think that the instrument is in a playable condition and is in need of restoration, there is no crook or case and we have no further provenance about it.
