Mahogany railway single fusee 10" drop dial wall clock signed John Agar, L.Y.R., 167, Bury, within a turned surround over carved ears and a drop fitted with a small oval plaque inscribed L.M.S, 8219 (pendulum)
-
**There is some provenance written to the inside back of the clock indicating that this was a station clock firstly for the London Midland Scottish region B.R no. 8219 prior to it being sited on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. The clock was purchased from Collectors Corner (B.R) near Paddington
The general condition is a little poor with expected wear and tear for age including grubby dial and repairs to parts of the case including the left hand ear, also the case looks like it has been over-varnished. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
