English rosewood double fusee bracket clock, the movement back plate singed Thwaites & Reed, Clerkenwell, London, with locking pendulum, the 7" convex cream dial signed W. Pile, Frith St. Soho Sq, within a brass bound panelled stepped case surmounted by a wavy high gadrooned carved cornice, 19.25" high (pendulum and keys)
General condition of movement and dial appear reasonable with small areas of missing paint on the dial, the case cornice is damaged to the front with missing mouldings and a crack to the right hand side of the cornice sweep, other more minor imperfections on the main sides of the case, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible. Serial no. is 9157 and appears on the front plate under 5 o'clock and also on the edge of the top left hand side of the front plate
