1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 1xxxx5; Body: sunburst top upon mahogany pancake body, a few lacquer chips, dings and other minor marks to top, heavy scratches and marks to back and sides; Neck: crude neck repair, neck refinished, chip to treble corner of head; Fretboard: ebony, board re-bound; Frets: refret using very large fret wire; Electrics: appear to be working, however attention required, one replaced potentiometer, wiring generally untidy, switch won't stay in rhythm position, pickup covers removed, Patent number sticker pickup to bridge and Patent number stamped pickup to neck, damage to treble volume pot shaft; Hardware: pickguard replaced, knobs replaced, typical loss to gold plating, screws missing from control back plate; Weight: 4.56kg; Overall condition: fair/in need of attention
