Good English ebonised single fusee verge bracket clock, the brass dial signed Jasper Tayler in Grayes Inn to the top of the dial plate over a silver chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with calendar aperture and ringed winding hole, the finely foliate engraved back plate also signed Jasper Tayler in Greyes Inn and fitted with a pendulum lock, the stepped case surmounted by four flaming urn finial's, caddy top and ornate cast carrying handle, 16.5" high (pendulum and keys) (alterations)

This clock was originally fitted with pull repeat, now missing, there are a number of spare holes in the back plate indicating that it has been re-converted back to verge from anchor escapement, the hands have also been replaced, see images for guidance.
