*In 2003, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness had three specially made Gibson Les Paul Customs, each in contrasting colours silver sparkle burst, pink sparkle burst and bullion gold, each fitted with Bigsby vibratos and featuring a flame pearl and abalone inlay most commonly seen on the Gibson Les Paul Ultima model. This guitar is believed to be a Custom order, based on Justin Hawkin's guitars.

We have correspodance with Gibson who have commented: "the serial number refers in our database also to a 1968 Les paul Custom figured, with ultima fingerboard, from 2005, made at the custom shop as special order"
