Fine English fusee carriage clock timepiece, the 2" silvered dial signed Brockbank & Atkins, London 8542, within a gilt foliate mask, the lower hinged back door revealing the movement back plate with fast/slow adjustment and also stamped no. 8542, also stamped no. 373 on the inside of the door the base plate, within a pillared ormolu case engraved with meandering foliage to the sides and top, surmounted by an ornate cast handle, 5" high; also with an outer Morocco leather travelling case

Leather covered Case likely not original to clock as a little too big, case very tired, worn right back to wood. Escapement seems to run freely and spring in good order. Minor wear to gilt finish to clock, see additional detailed images as a guide.
