Bee Gees - Maurice Gibb owned, stage played and autographed early 1970s Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar, used to compose the hit single 'Jive Talkin'; sunburst finish, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (restorations and bearing a 'L. Pohl Breslin Luther' label to the inner back), signed to the front by all three members of the Bee Gees and dated 1987

*Won by Charlie Faulkner in a BBC Radio One competition on the Bruno Brookes Rock Shop, January 1987. The guitar is accompanied by a BBC Radio One headed letter, dated 13th January 1987, from Radio One research assistant Carrie Turner, inviting Mr Faulkner to personally pick the guitar up from Radio One, meet Bruno and have a look around the studios. A photograph documenting the meeting in the studio is included and depicts Mr Faulkner holding the guitar with Bruno Brookes. A cassette tape and cd with a sound bite of Bruno Brookes announcing the winner is also supplied. On the recording, it is confirmed that this is the guitar that Maurice Gibb composed the 1975 Bee Gees hit 'Jive Talkin' on. More recently the guitar featured on Channel Four's 'Four Rooms' (Season 4, Episode 1) where Mr Faulkner agreed a sale with Celia Sawyer. In this episode Mr Faulkner again confirms with the dealers that Maurice Gibb wrote 'Jive Talkin' on the guitar. The vendor bought the guitar directly from Celia Sawyer, after seeing the guitar on the show. Supplied in a photograph showing Maurice Gibb holding the guitar on stage
