£95
Rare rosewood English-built American style 12" drop dial wall clock, the cream dial decorated to the centre with stylised coloured foliage, within a flat canted surround over a pendulum window inscribed Champion Regulator (pendulum and key)
*This clock was made by Charles Cartwright, 22 Edgbaston St., Birmingham after his sons Charles and Henry Cartwright visited America to study factory production there, their Cumberland Street site was rebuilt as the 'Atlantic Works' (1869-1898)
The going train is not working, but the striking train is; the general condition is a little poor with some discolouration to the case colour, the dial with missing paint and in need of retouching, the two train movement is not a fusee, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised when possible.
