American Waltham gold plated lever pocket watch, serial no. 7189971, circa 1895, signed movement with compensated balance and regulator, hinged cuvette, signed dial with Roman numerals, minute track and subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, within a Dennison engine turned case with engraved cartouche, 50mm
Movement - currently functioning although intermittently stopping when face up so requires some attention, running consistently face down, balance cock appears to be a replacement.
Dial - faint hairline to the centre.
Glass - surface scratches.
Hands - light marks.
Case - rubbing to the case back and sides, rubbing to the stem and bow.
Crown - rubbed, winding but not adjusting the hands - requires attention.
