Matt Owens (Noah and the Whale) - Gibson Dove acoustic guitar, made in USA, circa 1969; Back and sides: cherry finish, lacquer checking, back binding missing (back previously removed for restoration work); Top: sunburst finish, fading, severe sinkage to table centre, other hairline cracks and cracking, various dings, pickup added; Neck: heavy checking and wear; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: indent wear to first position and mild wear throughout; Electrics: working, later installed pickup wired through the treble side; Hardware: later strap buttons; Case: fitted hard case; Weight: 2.64kg; Overall condition: poor

*Used by Matt Owens on various projects throughout his career. The pickup modification and general maintenance of the guitar has been carried out by Matt Gleeson at Monty's Guitars. The table on the guitar has heavily fallen to the centre with the bridge significantly raised to counteract this, resulting in good playing order
