£260
Good French white onyx and gilt metal mounted two train mantel clock garniture, the movement striking on a bell, the 3.25" blue chapter ring with Roman cabouchon enamel numerals, within an ornate breakfront case modelled with recumbent winged mythical beasts to either side and surmounted by a classical flat urn, 16" high (pendulum); also with a pair of matching side pieces, 10.75" high
The going and striking trains appear to function although the striking train is not always striking the correct number of hours, there are areas of slight discoloration especially to the back of the clock and clearly visible in images to the front, Roman enamel numerals seem okay but there is gilding and paint wear to the dial surface, also some minor ships to onyx edges, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
