1974 C.F Martin 000-28 acoustic guitar, made in USA; Back and sides: Indian rosewood, evidence of repair to bass hand side lower bout corner with clear lacquer overspray, light checking, various minor scratches and dings; Top: natural spruce, lacquer checking and minor dings; Neck: mahogany, head repair with overspray; Fretboard: ebony, wear to first position; Frets: minor wear throughout with some heavier indents to first position; Hardware: good; Overall condition: fair
Repaired neck with overspray. Repair to side with overspray. Frets worn and oxidised to upper frets. Action needs improving. A little high for most. Saddle is very low. There is some scope to straighten the neck a little with truss adjustment, however we would not rule out a neck re-set. Buyer beware with regard to this aspect. Lacquer checking and marks throughout.
