Interesting early composite violin bearing an old Amati label, the two piece back of very faint medium fine curl with plainish wood to the sides and head, the later table of medium width grain and the varnish of a plum red colour on a golden ground, 13 15/16", 35.40cm

There have been several repairs on this violin and further images have been taken to illustrate in more detail, the repairs are to the head, the top button on the back and the bottom button on the lower ribs. Personal viewing advised.
