£150
Dr John Plowman - Oak thirty hour longcase clock with birdcage movement, the 10" foliate engraved dial plate signed John Hilderson, Londini, fecit enclosed by a silvered chapter ring, the case with long door and the hood surmounted by a moulded stepped pediment, 74.5" high (with pendulum, weight and winding key)
We believe the signature is spurious, the country case all intact with a dark stained appearance, count wheel loose, missing lock plate to the case door, split to the front base board - generally the clock requires overhaul - personal viewing is advised if possible. See images for guidance
