Rare Omega Seamaster 300 'Big Triangle' automatic stainless steel gentlemen's wristwatch, reference no. 166.024, serial no. 27971xxx, circa 1968, fixed 'wide triangle' bakelite bezel insert, black dial with 'big triangle', luminous baton markers, minute markers, date aperture, sword hands with a white tipped centre seconds hand, screw-down crown, cal. 565 24 jewel movement, rare misprinted 'HF' (Huguenin Freres) 'Speedmaster' case back, black rubber band, 40mm
** The inside case has reference number 165.024 struck out and correct reference 166.024 underneath

Private Provenance.
Box and Papers - no box or papers.
Movement - appears currently functioning although will benefit from a service.
Dial - 'T SWISS MADE T' dial with nice original patina.
Glass - badly scratched and would benefit with replacement.
Hands - the lume insert to the minute hand is partially missing - see images.
Case - visible marks to the bezel insert, other typical marks as expected. The case back as mentioned has been misprinted 'Speedmaster' and confirmed by Omega that a small batch were issued around this period - see images for further details.
Crown - Omega crown adjusting correctly but would benefit with a service. .
Strap - a later strap with marks and some wear.
