Singing birds automata in the manner of Blaise Bontems, with two birds, one perched above the other within a square wirework cage surmounted by a carrying handle, supported upon a giltwood base decorated in relief with flowers and foliage over an egg and dart carved border, 21" high overall
The mechanism does work and the top bird moves and sings, the case is in need of some refurbishment with tarnishing to the metalwork and some loss of gilding to the base, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
