1963 Guild Starfire III electric guitar, made in USA; Body: cherry finished mahogany, light buckle wear patch to back, a few scratches and dings but generally very acceptable for age; Neck: mahogany, patches of wear and various dings; Fretboard: rosewood, minor groove wear; Frets: good, refret; Electrics: working, rare white topped DeArmond pickups; Hardware: good; Case: original Selmer hard case enclosing original tag; Weight: 2.95kg; Overall condition: good for age

*This guitar is fitted with the rarer white topped DeArmond pickups, the same as used in the 50s by Gretsch 6120s. Guild guitars used black DeArmonds in the very early days, as did Gretsch, but were changed to white covers to signify the difference between the two brands. Guild only used these pickups until early 1963, even then, not on all models.

*Sold with UK non-transferable domestic CITES A10 certificate (domestic use only)
