Decorative French gilt metal and white marble two train portico mantel clock garniture, the 3.75" white painted dial within a drumhead casing, supported on two pillars to the rectangular stepped base and surmounted by a pierced gilt metal foliate swag, the back plate with Japy Freres logo, 14.5" high; also with a pair of matching gilt urns on marble supports surmounted by pineapple finials, 10" high (with pendulum and winding key)
The movement does tick when wound, the hands adjust correctly and the movement chimes on the bell correctly on the hour and single chime on the half hour, the enamel dial does have little hairline cracks to the upper portion by eleven and twelve and lower between five and six towards the edges, further damages around the small hole above the twelve hour mark, the case itself although present and correct is really rather dirty, the metalwork tarnished and the marble stained with water marks and ingrained dirt, rough corners of the marble base and the garniture side piece basses, the lower collar of the left hand facing pillar support has a crack through the metalwork, see detailed images as a guide
