**The David Costa Collection - advance copy given to David Costa of Wherefore Art? following the studio’s design work on the '24 Nights' project
David Costa: ‘Introduced to Brian Roylance and Genesis Publications via Gered Mankowitz and Derek Taylor in 1988, it was inevitable, with so much common ground, we’d begin to work together. We did, producing ten books for them over the next decade, from Blinds & Shutters to Hamburg Days, followed by both Genesis and Wherefore Art? teams merging to produce The Beatles Anthology book published in 2000. This particular ’24 Nights’ edition, unnumbered but signed, is an early copy of the entire boxed set, a pre-publication copy given to me by Brian before the numbered edition was released for sale.’
