Good Imhof reproduction marine chronometer inscribed to the circular base Paris Ferdinand Berthoud 1796, the 2.25" chapter ring enclosing a gilded centre signed Imhof with subsidiary seconds dial, contained within a brushed brass casing applied with a rectangular plaque inscribed no. 8449 over a gimbal balance within tapering curving supports, 6.5" high; also with original folding leather fitted cylindrical travelling case
This clock is in generally good condition with just minor blemishes to the metal casework, it has a quartz swiss movement No. 1827507; we have not had an opportunity to test the running of this clock but have no reason to believe it is not in good working order; the outer travelling case is quite spotted and soiled.
