Early 19th century English 'motto dial' silver pair cased verge pocket watch, Birmingham 1801, the fusee movement signed J. Adland, Louth, no. 5035, with pierced engraved balance cock with mask, flat steel three arm balance and steel Bosley type regulator, the dial with enamel Roman numeral chapter, gilt engraved centre and motto to the outer rim 'Keep me clean and use me well and I to you the truth will tell', within plain cases, case maker 'RN', 57mm

Movement - currently functioning.
Dial - couple of faint hairlines to the enamel chapter.
Glass - light surface marks.
Hands - not matching.
Case - both cases generally good, the outer case with some engraved marks to the case back and the date hallmark has been rubbed.
