1953 Gibson L7C archtop guitar, made in USA; Body: amber burst finish top, lacquer checking and a few dings, dark back and sides with surface scratches and marks, hole cut to top to allow for Charlie Christian neck pickup; Neck: good; Finish: minor checking, repair to the side on the lower bout bass edge; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: oxidisation throughout; Electrics: working, Charlie Christian pickup added to neck position with controls through top and jack to the treble rib; Hardware: good; Case: fitted hard case; Weight: 2.72kg; Overall condition: good for age
