Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar, made in USA, circa 1946; Back and sides: mahogany, repaired crack to lower bout bass hand side of back, repaired crack to bass side, refinishing to entire body; Neck: reset with new internal block, refinished; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: good, refret; Hardware: good; Case: compressed foam case; Overall condition: good/restored
Guitar is restored condition. Back with a repaired hairline crack that does not appear visible inside. Bridge has been reset. Top with very slight lift although not significant. Neck has been reset with a replacement neck block. Entire guitar refinished. High gloss and not necessarily sympathetic to the age / model in terms of feel and sunburst spray pattern. Later Strap buttons. Refret with larger more modern type wire. See images for general condition guidance.
