1962 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 9xxx5; Body: Dakota red refinish, extra cavity rout under the guard (previously installed switch), light marks and scratches; Neck: maple, re-lacquered, 1-62 pencil date, decal partially missing; Fretboard: rosewood, general wear, some filled repairs, replaced dots to third, fifth and seventh frets; Frets: refret, visible wear throughout; Electrics: working, pickups appear original, tone pots original and dating to 23rd week of 1961, volume pot replaced, various later wiring, switch appears original; Hardware: original scratchplate with plugged switch mod, tone control knobs replaced, replacement saddles, replaced strap buttons, some replaced screws, later tuners (original tuners retained); Weight: 2.81kg; Overall condition: poor
