Good English 'second period' hook and spike brass lantern clock, signed Thomas Wheeler below the front fret, the 6.25" silvered chapter ring enclosing a foliate engraved centre with single iron hand, surmounted by pierced shield and foliate frets, strapwork bell and finials, 15.75" high (two brass cased weights and two small lead weights) (alterations)

** This clock has been re-converted to the original balance wheel control, this work was done many years ago but has a later replacement escape wheel and pinion to allow a full swing of the balance wheel. The original escape wheel is included with the clock
