Good English violin by and labelled William Walton, Maker, Preston.A.D. 1924, no. 65, the two piece back of fine/medium curl with similar wood to the sides and head, the table of a broad width grain and the varnish of a light reddish and golden-brown colour, 14 1/16", 35.70cm
General condition appears reasonable with no serious damage evident, however the varnish has been unattractively over-lacquered and glistens. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
