* Having a fascination for futuristic guitars, Bernie had this guitar customised by the highly regarded vintage guitar restorer Clive Brown. Based on a Gibson Explorer, Bernie wanted to create a 'prototype', circa 1958, complete with serial number, gold finish and fitted with parts from his spares box. This guitar features on page 203 of Bernie's book 'Tales of Tone and Volume'. 'NSA' is an abbreviation that Bernie uses for custom made American inspired guitars that have 'Never Seen America'
