Early 20th century French 'Le Taxiphote' Stereoscopic viewer, the mahogany table top case bearing ivorine plaques, one reads ' Le Taxiphote Stereo-Classeur Distributeur Automatique, Brevete S.D.G.E', and further instruction plaque, over a base section with panelled door enclosing three drawers of slide cassettes, primarily scenic views of Llandudno, The Lakes etc. 11.5" wide, 11" deep, 19.25" high

Overall condition very good, the slide change mechanism functions correctly and easily, the adjusting eye pieces scroll out correctly, the case overall in good condition with only the most minor of age consistent wear and abrasions, the metalwork is tarnished and would benefit from a little attention, the ivorine plaques stained and tarnished, the side circular plaque with one minor hairline split, there is a video on social media showing the slide change in action and an example of the included slides.
