*Single owner from new and in original unplayed condition. The Fender Eric Clapton Brownie Tribute Stratocaster was made by the Fender Custom Shop in conjunction with Guitar Centre to replicate Eric Clapton's original 'Brownie' Stratocaster in exact detail, mirroring years of wear and tear down to every nick, scratch and cigarette burn.
The original Brownie is most famous for its use on seminal 1970 Derek & The Dominos recording 'Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs'.
Limited to one hundred pieces worldwide, each Brownie Tribute Stratocaster was hand built by Clapton's personal master builder Todd Krause and is sold with a certificate of authenticity booklet signed by both Todd Krause and Eric Clapton. The guitar also comes within a replica hard case bearing Derek & The Dominos stencil, along with a 40th Anniversary Deluxe edition box set of Layla and other assorted love songs and further related ephemera. The sale also includes the original shipping box as it was presented to the vendor upon purchase
