Large Burmantofts Faience pottery jardinière, in a turquoise glaze with stylised petal decoration, stamped and numbered 522 to the underside, 17" diameter, 15.5" high; upon a similar Burmantofts turquoise glaze pottery jardinière column stand, 27" high (repaired break) (2)

The jardinière: with close crazing to the glaze consistent overall, small areas of glaze chips and wear around the upper rim, a couple more notable chips around the foot rim exterior, stains and dirt to the interior, the interior base heavily worn, evidence of use with a plant sat inside, a little colour variation from the turquoise blue to a yellow tinge around the upper rim.
Similar stand: repaired break to the lower portion above the stepped base section, rather crude with glue evidence, the surface where the jardinière sits is rather worn consistent with use, a couple of small chips to the surface glaze around the upper corner.
