Interesting violin labelled Bernhard Fendt, Fecit Anno, 1793, the two piece back of faint medium fine curl with plainish wood to the sides and head, the table of a fine width grain slightly widening to the flanks and the varnish of a reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 14 3/16", 36cm, bow, case
There are two cracks on the table, inside the bass side F hole and running down from the top of the upper bout in line with the fingerboard; also another crack on the back of the bass side lower bouts, otherwise no real serious condition issues.
