Elgin National Watch Co. gold plated lever pocket watch, circa 1899, serial no. 8117953, signed 7 jewel movement with safety pinion, compensated balance and silvered regulating scale, signed Roman numeral dial, within an engraved screw case, 55mm (at fault)
Movement - not currently functioning, the crown not engaging to wind or adjust the hands, appears to have one screw missing.
Dial - hairlines present.
Glass - some surface scratches.
Hands - not matching, surface marks present.
Case - the inside case with inscription 'George J. Stevens, Newtown Wells, 1901', some rubbing to the edge of the case back, rubbing to the stem and bow.
Crown - not engaging so not winding or adjusting the hands.
