John Barton, London - early 19th century English silver pair cased verge pocket watch, signed fusee movement, no. 6137, with pierced engraved balance cock with mask, flat steel three arm balance and silvered regulating disc, enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute track, bullseye glass, plain associated cases, 49mm
Movement - currently functioning, winding quite stiff but winds ok and working.
Dial - faint hairline and light surface marks.
Glass - scratches present.
Hands - surface scratches and mild wear.
Case - inner case hallmarked London 1812, outer case hallmarked Birmingham 1857, inner case with some tarnishing and surface marks and bezel hinge requires repair, replacement bow, outer case not a good fit with the inner case, with tarnishing, surface marks and a small bruise mark.
