Continental walnut and brass mounted two train novelty wall clock in the form of a house, the eight day movement striking on a gong, the 5" wooden dial within a novelty case carved with corner columns and simulated brickwork, with gilt metal mounts surmounted by a sloping roof fitted with a dormer window and galleries, 19" high (pendulum and key)
**The front of this clock is inscribed Anno 1529 on a plaque beneath the dial, this date may be commemorating the siege of Vienna, which lasted just over two weeks from 27th September to 15th of October 1529
