Interesting violin circa 1820, the scroll carved with an extra turn, the two piece back of very faint medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the head of plainish wood, the table of a fine width grain slightly widening to the flanks and the varnish of a light reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 14", 35.60cm
