Dr John Plowman - Good French Grand Sonnerie repeating carriage clock with alarm striking on two gongs, the dial signed Leroy & Fils, Palais Royale, 13-15, Paris; 211 Regent Street, London to the centre of the principal dial over an alarm dial, the movement back plate and base stamped no. 1225, the base also fitted with a selection lever for Grand Sonnerie, Petit Sonnerie and Silence, within a gilded brass gorge case, 7" high; also within a red Morocco leather travelling case (requires attention)
Missing the push repeat button button but does strike the hours and quarters when tested with a pin. The hour hand is slightly off-line and the alarm strikes 3 hours earlier. Hairline to the dial top right corner, the case with typical light surface tarnishing - see images for guidance
