Oak and mahogany crossbanded eight day longcase clock, the 13" painted arched dial signed JNO Stanyer, Nantwich to the centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, also with moon phase to the arch, the case with long wavy crossbanded door and the hood surmounted by a moulded swan neck pediment over a foliate gilded cobalt blue frieze, 85.5" high (pendulum, two weights and keys)
This clock is in generally tired condition and with strong limed oak figured front, the case is in need of attention with back feet missing and front feet damaged, there is also damage to the swan neck cornice, the dial appears in reasonable condition with some missing paint, and the dial/movement could be a sympathetic marriage to the case, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
