Set of Uilleann pipes by Denis Crowley, Cork, circa 1960, all tubes of rosewood with ivory and silver plated mounts, the chanter with four keys, a shut-off key and the popping pad, three drones, the bass drone coiled once and terminating in the resonator, drone shut-off switch, three regulators, tenor with five keys, the baritone and bass regulators with four keys, the drone stock overlaid with simulated mother of pearl, the rubber bag with a red velvet cover and yellow fringes, the bellows with mahogany boards, the leatherwork overlaid with red velvet matching the bag cover, stamped Denis Crowley, Cork on the chanter, the drones, the blow pipe, the regulators and the bellows, the bag stamped Denis Crowley, 5, St James's Square (off St Mary's Road Cork), in case Length of chanter including tenon 36.3cm *These bagpipes are sold by order of The Trustees of the Late Lancelot Robson of Hartburn *These bagpipes are sold with a CITES certificate no. 585276/01

No obvious faults; the set appears to be fully reeded although not all pipes are currently easily removable from the stock so this cannot be confirmed; the regulators are fitted with monoglot reeds.
