Fine Regency lacquered and gilt X-frame stool attributed to Thomas Hope (1769-1831), with gilt leopard's head terminals applied with brass rings and modern tassels, upon a sweeping x-frame united with a central turned stretcher with downswept supports terminating with carved paw feet, button upholstered seat, 31" high, 35" wide, depth 19"
