1876 George Lewis Panormo small bodied guitar, made in England, no. 2351, bearing original maker's label and additional Alfred Hays dealer label; Back and sides: four piece coromandel back, rippling with splits to seams and minor hairline due to wood drying out, hairlines to sides; Top: natural spruce, minor wear but generally good; Neck: good; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: minor wear; Hardware: good;

George Lewis Panormo was at 37 Whitfield Street, Fitzroy Square when he made this guitar the year before he died. He was the nephew of Louis Panormo who he had worked with in his uncle's High Street premises, becoming a skilled craftsman in his own right.
