*From The Granary Collection and acquired in 1999. This guitar features on track five of Granary Guitars' 'The Sound of Spain' album, played by David Merrin. ‘..a beautiful gentle tone’. Here The Sound of Spain track here: 

This guitar dates from around 1908 and is smaller than his normal concert instruments. Despite its smallish size, it sounds very sweet and is very playable.

Condition notes:restored by luthier Peter Barton in 1999. Luthier notes state: ‘Repaired and reinforced crack to side of centre join in front of bridge. Cleaned and filled gaps around bindings and heel/rib join. Remove and clean machine heads. Clean and re-polish finish. Fit new golpeador plate.’
