The Granary Collection - Antique Italian Chitarra Battente in need of extensive restoration

*From the Granary Collection - This rare instrument, lined with parchment is of great age and historical interest. It is difficult to estimate the age but it may date from the late 17th or early 18th century.

Many of the pieces, including the rose, are still with the instrument. The intention was to further explore its origins and find a suitable restorer but the sale of the collection precluded this.
