1911 Coronation Robes for Robert William, the second Lord Napier of Magdala and Lady Napier, also subsequently worn by Robert John, fifth Lord Napier of Magdala, and Lady (Elizabeth) Napier at the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II;
sold together with the two coronets, also an interesting selection of ephemera of the occasion;
*Photocopies of; The Letter of Command from the Earl Marshal on behalf of the Queen commanding Lord Napier ‘and the Lady your wife’ to attend the 1953 Coronation, with the Queen’s signature, Covering letter from the Earl Marshall's Office enclosing a photograph of a peeress, Lady Napier’s ticket for admission to the Abbey, with row and seat number, and 'Inside the Abbey’, Lady Napier’s typed personal account of the Coronation
