The painting is in excellent untouched and un-damaged state, it has extremely good thick impasto (thickly applied paint) and is contained within a plain painted contemporary frame. The picture seems to have been painted on a broad woven canvas with no or very little preparation, this however does not deter from the attractiveness of the piece. Provenance: from an elderly retired picture dealer’s collection
